About Kaleidoscope Insights

Twenty-five years in the nonprofit sector — including executive leadership, board partnerships, and over $7 million in grants secured — taught me that small organizations don't lack good ideas. They lack time, capacity, and someone to think alongside them. 

I’m a 20+ year nonprofit professional who has worked primarily with small – medium sized nonprofit organizations.  I believe strongly in the important work that local, community-based nonprofits do for our world, and that we make direct meaningful contributions every day. 

When I thought about creating a nonprofit consulting space, I wanted to find a way to help others find the beauty in what they were already doing, like a kaleidoscope.  Small nonprofits have to be creative, innovative, and often scrappy to get things accomplished.  I’ve found that if you tweak something here, or adjust something there, your vision can become a masterpiece of effective strategy and implementation. 

I’m also a mom of twin daughters (who are very, very slowly completing their teenage years), a dog mom, a spouse, an arts advocate, and a believer and contributor in my own community.  I’m lucky enough to have a great husband who shares my love for many things geek, the theatre, the outdoors, camping, and traveling.
